Update the Pinterest app
Android devices
- Open the Pinterest app in the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore with your Android device
- Tap Update
iOS devices
- Open the App Store with your iPhone or iPad
- Search for the Pinterest app
- Tap Update
Can't update the Pinterest app
If you're using an Android device on an OS prior or equal to 4.4 or an iOS device on an OS prior to 9.0, you won't be able to update the Pinterest app.
If the mobile device or tablet you're using has an older version of Android or iOS, you can see if there is an update available.
If you're able to update to Android greater than 4.4, or iOS greater than 9.0, you'll be able to update the Pinterest app.
Using an older version of iOS or Android
If you're using an Android device on an OS prior or equal to 4.4 or an iOS device on an OS prior to 9.0, and can't upgrade, you can use Pinterest on the web.
If you have the app installed, some links on Pinterest will still try to open with the app. Uninstalling the app from this device will let you to view those links in your mobile browser instead.
