“have only used this app in conjunction with my Alexa and I can tell you that it is a terrific time-saver. It is so nice to be able to call out, 'Alexa put apples on my shopping list' and know that apples will be on the shopping list on your tablet, your phone, and any other devices you have connected. The apps are technically just fronts to - what you can do in the app you can do there. It's easier making 'apps' for mobile, since SDKs and frameworks are available. Even Microsoft made making the 'apps' for their app store easier to make and deploy. Actual applications for Windows (not from their app store) and Mac OS. Alexa-enabled Devices. I have a late 2013 iMac with Mac OS Mojave 10.14.2. I recently got a subscription to SiriusXM radio. I downloaded the Amazon Alexa app from the Apple App Store to my iPhone SE, and I can stream the tunes to the Echo Dot that is included with the subscription. If I'm understanding correctly, this particular app applies only to mobile devices. I can't seem to find one for the iMac on the Apple App Store.
After some Googling around, I found a reference to a free app called Reverb for Amazon's Alexa voice assistant that allows one to download it to an iMac. I'm unclear as to whether or not this particular app would allow me to access the SiriusXM network and play it through my computer.
My real question, though, has to do with whether or not anyone else has downloaded the Reverb app to be able to access SiriusXM via a non-mobile device, like an iMac or a Mac laptop. I don't want to try and download this thing if it is going to raise compatibility issues with my iMac.
I'm not sure that I've made the correct selections regarding the correct topic, etc. Anyway, thanks in advance for your responses.

Amazon Alexa Review:
Great app if you understand it well enough. Sounds like many are having issues that can be fixed. But sadly we can’t respond to others on here. Google your problems, most have answers.
Got it today for Christmas and set it up with no problems, got to select amazon echo wifi to get started, to connect to the echo first and then she will ask for your home wifi, synced my pandora and iheart radio account, also without any problems. Have been playing random songs I asked her to play which she played from amazon music unless I told her to play from a different source. pretty awesome device. Even if I only mention the song title she gets it right away!!! Amazing product.
I set up the Alexa app to play Apple Music. Then the Echo told me it could not yet play Apple Music and that I should wait two hours for an Echo software update. It took longer than two hours, but my first generation Echo updated its software overnight. In the morning I was able to play music from my Apple Music subscription. It will play Apple-curated playlists, but not my personal playlists. It does not shuffle. I have submitted requests for these additional features. I am thrilled that Amazon added the Apple Music skill for my old Echo. Thanks, Amazon! I have an awesome Internet connection with Google Fiber. If you have a slow or sketchy Internet connection, don’t blame your Amazon device or this app for interruptions or sub-par performance. Each interaction except pushing a button requires an Internet connection.
